About us
Our Story
We are a beekeeping family that includes myself, my wife Helen and our sons Lathyn and Jasper. We are based in Raunds in Northamptonshire, a town closely associated with shoemaking.

Our story started with a 'beekeeping experience' course ran by the lovely Rebecca Beveridge at her vinyard in Earls Barton. Not long after that course we transferred this swarm that had set up home in a neighbour's garden to our first National Hive made from cedar wood.
As things do with beekeeping, our apiary expanded quickly and now comprises four hives - Haven (our first), Welsh, Jasper and Damson. All are housed in traditional National hives.

We are members of Northamptonshire Beekeepers Association (NBKA) and the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA).

Browse through some of the photographs of our story below. You will notice two marked queens. The colour denotes the year ending with the red queen being from our original swarm catch.
